Elevate your space with the Ming Fern Kokedama, a handcrafted living art piece by Ritzy Blooms in Fort Lauderdale. Known for its airy, feathery foliage, the Asparagus Ming Fern brings a lush, sculptural look that suits both indoor and outdoor settings. Styled in the traditional Japanese kokedama technique, the roots are wrapped in premium moss, creating a natural, soil-free “moss ball” design displayed in a golden pedestal bowl.
This versatile kokedama can be enjoyed outdoors in full sun or partial shade, or indoors in bright light, making it an adaptable and stylish décor piece for any environment. It’s perfect for homes, offices, patios, entryways, or as a unique gift for plant lovers in South Florida.

Ming Fern Kokedama Care Instructions
Light: Outdoors in full sun or partial shade; indoors with bright light
Placement: Display indoors or outdoors where it can thrive in its light range
Watering:
Check the moss ball weekly and mist as needed. When it feels light, soak the entire ball in a bowl of room-temperature water for about 10 minutes, then let it drain fully before placing it back in the glass base. Avoid overwatering.
Humidity:
This plant loves moderate to high humidity. Mist occasionally or keep near a humidifier if your space is very dry.
Temperature:
Maintain an indoor environment between 65°F and 80°F. Avoid cold drafts or AC vents.
Maintenance:
Trim any yellowing leaves to encourage new growth. Rotate the plant every couple of weeks for even growth.
Pro Tip:
Kokedamas are living art. Gently shape or prune to maintain its bonsai-style silhouette.
Please note: The kokedama shown is for reference only; your piece will be one of a kind. At Ritzy Blooms, each kokedama is handcrafted to order using natural materials and live plants, so no two are ever exactly the same. While we follow the same design and sizing, slight variations in shape, size, and foliage are part of the charm that make your kokedama uniquely yours.
